Weezer
Last night my wife, some friends of ours and I went to see Weezer play in Bangor. We had a good time, even though it did start raining toward the end of the show. The stage was setup to look like the dashboard of a car and their tour was road trip themed. The opening acts were Joyce Manor and Future Islands. Admittedly, Future Islands wasn't for me, but it was fun watching the lead singer jump around on stage with such passion. Weezer put on a great show. If you ever get a chance to see them live, I highly recommend.
Nightmare Fuel
For me, it's important to keep improving my craft, which is why I've been taking another writing class. This one is put on by a company called AutoCrit. Not only do they do writing courses, but they also have their own writing software. As students of this course, we are allowed access to this software for the entirety of the class for free. I've been working on a short story using their software and it's pretty neat. The course itself has been a lot of fun. I'm learning better ways to frighten my readers.
The book party podcast
Recently I was a guest on the book party podcast. The host, Michael, and I did a semi-scripted interview. We spoke about inspiration, the craft of writing and a few other things. If you're interested in listening to that, I will link the episode below.
