The Hellscape podcast

My newest release is a radio drama called Imposter. It's a dark Sci-fi story where we follow a comedian named David Blake and discover his dark secrets as we go. I also had the opportunity to play a small role in this production (I voiced the driver). I don't consider myself a voice actor so I took the spot with the least lines. I thought it would be fun to play a small cameo in the production.

Mr. Thorpe's Bell is on Audible

In the middle of the night, from the depths of the woods, comes a chiming bell. The rumors surrounding the mysterious bell point fingers at a widower named Mr. Thorpe. After working a day with him, Walter Jones learns that he isn't the monster they portrayed, but he is hiding one.

This is a horror story without adult language and minimal blood. I'd hoped to gear this story toward a younger audience, although the adults that have listened to it seem to be enjoying it as well.

The accidental book tour

Fellow author and friend Shaun Nigro have been traveling around the state taking part in all sorts of events. Our latest escapade was Maine Book Fest, which took place last weekend in Waterville. Shaun was interviewed for the local news, but they didn't end up using that footage. Fox, Channel 7 Bangor. You can see me pitching books to a young horror enthusiast.

Our next big adventure isn't for a couple of weeks, but we will be in New Hampshire at Granite Con September 21st and 22nd. Right now we're recovering both in spirit and inventory. The road can be difficult.

I was hoping that my next novel "Without Saying Goodbye" would be ready for the Bangor Comic & Toy convention, but it doesn't look like that's going to be the case. My editor wasn't available for the final edits before that date so we're postponing that until late November.

My book "The Blacktop Kings" is undergoing another cover. The audience doesn't seem to like the live action type, it gets very little attention at the events and even less online. That's all for now.
