See Me AS I Am Charity Anthology
There's no better place to start this newsletter than to talk about my upcoming publication. I am so honored to be a part of this anthology. It's a collection of short stories about hidden illnesses. Not every sickness is surface level. Some can't be seen at all, especially mental illnesses. Seventeen incredible authors have come together to write about this theme. My short story "Unraveled" will be featured in this project and all the proceeds will go to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). The pre-orders are up now, and the release date is July 1st.
Cathedral
As some of you may already know, I have a brief history with Indie horror films. Well, it looks like we're doing it again! Shaun Nigro and I, with the help of a couple of friends, plan on filming a short film based on my short story Cathedral this summer. We're currently gearing up, learning a lot and trying to prepare for the impossible, filming a watchable movie on a shoestring budget. We have a lot of concerns and obstacles along the way, but we're trying to face it with optimism.
2025 Booktok Indie Author Awards
My Young Adult novel "Without Saying Goodbye" is nominated for an award. If you'd also like to place a vote, that would be helpful.
Thanks for listening my fellow conspirators.
