Queen City Expo

My fellow conspirators

My wife and I spent three days in Bangor earlier this month at a convention called Queen City Expo. We had a really good time and got to meet some rather interesting people. At these conventions they usually have celebrity guests. Among them this year were, Tom Kenny (Voice actor,) Tom Arnold (Comedian) and Billy West (Voice actor.) The only one of the three that I met was Billy West, who played the voices in popular TV shows like Ren & Stimpy, Doug, and my personal favorite Futurama. 

While we were there, we spent some time relaxing in our hotels hot tub, swam in the pool and ate some amazing food. Every time Monique and I go to Bangor we go to a breakfast spot called Bagel Central. They make an incredible breakfast burrito, and their pastries are amazing. 

Per usual, the first day of the convention we didn't sell that many books. The second day however, we did incredibly well. Saturdays are always the busier day. Also, my wife is a much better salesperson than I. 

Our Indie film is still in post-production. There really aren't any updates there at the moment.

While we're looking down the barrel of 2026, I've been thinking about the direction of my writing career and have decided that I'm going to query some agents and try to go traditional. I think there are more opportunities for me there. That doesn't mean I've turned my back entirely on Self-publishing. I still plan on doing the next book in the Mishka series that way.
