Exploding Head Fiction Presents, Twisted Laughs.
An Anthology of Dark Humor brings together a wickedly talented group of writers who explore the sharp, shadowy edges of humor. From the sinister to the surreal, these stories twist familiar scenarios into darkly comedic gems that will make you laugh, wince, and question your sense of humor. Featuring contributions from Brian Bowyer, Clarence Carter, Patrick Barb, Paul Lonardo, Michelle Dornish, Wayne Fenlon, Sarina Dorie, Emily Smith, Joseph Shane, Dave Does Cambodia, Ryan T Jenkins, Ria Hill, Donna Marie West, Cheryl Zaidan, and Gregg Chamberlain, this anthology dives deep into the human psyche, showing just how absurd, and sometimes horrifying, life can be. Available on Amazon.
In other news, the past month has been incredibly busy. Shaun Nigro and I attended Bangor Comic & Toy Con at the beginning of the month. There were a lot of people there. We had some fun, took some photos and probably spent too much money. I also danced with Pikachu and ate pizza with the ninja turtles. COWABUNGA!!! There, we hosted our first Maine Author Panel. It was a bit nerve racking, but it could have been much worse.
We also had a table at craft fair, where we were face to face with a few of our readers. This is what we do it for, to have constant readers, sorry for stealing your term Stephen King. It's good to know that our work is going into the hands of people who are enjoying our stories. We work hard on these books and don't hear a lot of feedback from the audience. That's why reviews are so important. That, and the reviews make us that much more visible on platforms like Amazon and Goodreads. Shaun had an opportunity to showcase his latest release The Seed Vol 2 at this craft fair too.
Upcoming: Although we are nearly done with our Accidental Book Tour, we have one event left in the Auburn Mall on Dec 7th. By then, I hope to have my latest YA book available Without Saying Goodbye. It's currently wrapping up the final round of edits and I plan on doing a preorder for that one so keep an eye out for it.

Blackberry Mint Lemonade. A simple fast food treat, or the catalyst for societal collapse? Scottie Brentson doesn’t know. Yet that doesn’t stop him from trying the latest beverage craze El Rancho Burgers has to offer.
It isn’t long before he regrets his choice. First assuming he suffers from an allergic reaction to the refreshment, he quickly discovers himself mutating into a pyrokinetic being.
He isn’t alone. Other people develop super-strength, ice, parasitic telepathy, and magic, among other abilities. Not all these powers will benefit mankind.
If Scottie thinks he can just leave town, he’s wrong. Deep in the heart of the operation behind El Rancho Burgers, the mysterious C.O.R.B.I.N., lies a dark tie he’ll want to sever soon.
Because this corporation will break Scottie’s spirit to make him work for them. And nobody in all the history of Greensville has ever refused C.O.R.B.I.N.
Not even the META-MISFITS.
Nikolas P. Robinson says, “Meta-Misfits is fantastic. It reminds me a lot of Douglas Adams and John Scalzi sort of wrapped into one package. It’s ridiculous in a good way.”
Until next time, keep reading...
